ABOUT
Dr. Angela Hunt BSc. ND
My career in naturopathic medicine truly started during my undergraduate at the University of Western Ontario, where I completed my bachelor degree in science with a double major in biology and psychology. It was there that I started to appreciate how the human mind interacts and influences the body. Learning about neuropsychology and evolutionary psychology fascinated me. I wanted to understand more about how our thoughts and ancestry can affect our health.
At the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine I then started learning about these connections and how to apply them to patient care. I have been practicing now for over a decade and have treated thousands of patients. I take a comprehensive approach to patient care, ensuring we are looking at every angle of their health. Over the past few years I have focused my practice on providing care exclusively for patients going through the perimenopausal and menopausal transition.
I love being a Naturopathic Doctor and having the opportunity to help women going through this critical time is my passion. I bring compassion and motivation to my visits, and believe healthcare is a partnership between a physician and the patient. I do not just simply treat symptoms, but want to build a long term longevity plan. From hot flashes to osteoporosis, my gentle approach and insightful nature allow patients to find their own balance.
